James Edward Franco was born in Palo Alto, CA on April 19, 1978. He began working as an actor and filmmaker in 1997 with his first famous role on the short-lived series, “Freaks and Geeks.” On that show, he played the main character, Daniel Desario.
In the years that followed Franco has had many roles as icon television marketing and more commonly, films. He played the main character in James Dean; a made for t.v. Movie in 2011.
